压控振盪器是以电压输入来控制振盪频率的电子振盪元件。其振盪的频率或重复的比例会随着直流电压的不同而改变,这个特性可以用来将调变讯号当做压控振盪器的输入而产生不同的调变讯号;而DIP VCXO因制程老旧,能控制的电压范围也较小,故已逐渐被市场淘汰。
